Besides listening to music I follow some other hobbies like travelling around the world or doing sports such as archery, hiking skiing
Author (primarily for concerts)
(How) do I know fellow authors from TeamTranscended?:
For the first time I met Roman at a summer party in Gelsenkirchen Buer. He was the new boyfriend from a common friend of my former girlfriend and me. So we were really excited to meet him. We talked a lot that night about music, comics, movies and other stuff. And now years later he’s a really good friend of mine.
Why do I want to write about music:
I think I like to write about my concert visits to share my experiences and give others an insight how much fun you can have after a great night with live music and making party with the band and other people who like the same music as you do.
First concert ever?
My first concert was the NuRock am Kloster Festival 2006, which was a small Rock festival in my home town Kirchhellen.
3 best concert impressions:
1) AREA4 -Festival@Flugplatz Borkenberge, Lüdinghausen 2010
It was the first time I saw Blink 182 live after their reunion in 2009. What an awesome night!
2) Sum 41@Palladium, Cologne 2017
One of the best concerts I visited by one of my favourite bands and heroes of my childhood.
3) Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls@Mitsubishi Electric Halle, Düsseldorf 2018
Really lovely to see how much joy Frank Turner spread in interacting with the audience. For example dancing together with the fans in the crowd.
Concerts you missed (and you’re very mad about!):
Galaxy Camp@Essigfabrik, Cologne 2018
I already had a ticket but I spontaneously flew to Bali to go on vacation. Sometimes some hobbies bite each other…
Bands you (still) need to see (again):
And many many more!
First albumI bought:
Green Day – American Idiot
First Vinyl I bought:
Currently I haven’t started collecting vinyl yet. But that day may come.
Most frequently spinned album:
Millencolin – Pennybridge Pioneers
But surely there are some others that run in continuous loop through my speakers.
Albums that impacted me the most:
Sum 41 – All Killer No Filler / Chuck
Rise Against – The Sufferer & the Witness
Blink 182 – Enema of the State / Self-Titled album
Backtrack – Lost In Life
Escape the Fate – Dying Is Your Latest Fashion
Birds in Row – We Already Lost the World
