It’s been two years since the release of the compilation of Essenz I / II by Leipzig-based Black Metal trio Flesia. In 2025, they return with the release of their sophomore full-length release Achterbahnekstase, which will hurl their musical output to a next level.

Having emerged with the release of their 2021 debut Trost via Revolvermann Records, Flesia have started right off playing a difficult to grasp Black Metal tone that specifically feeds on the immense pressure that is generated by the power of the only string instrument this band contains – their bass. Even though this might sound weird in the first place, the way this sound turned out worked from their debut on already.

On the 31st of October, Flesia will release their sophomore full-length Achterbahnekstase that will be released via Cultkill Music. You will now get the opportunity to listen into the album a day before its release!

On Achterbahnekstase, the mesmerizing effect of iteration in the spheres of this pulsating jackhammer sound forces three tracks onto the listener that will not pass by unnoticed. The sound on this album perfectly crafts what can be considered straight up Black Metal while being puzzled together by a line-up that will trigger the heart of any trve Black Metal gatekeeper.
