Teeth Out – Demo (Recommendation)

In East Westphalia, the noise has returned. Booking collectives are springing up everywhere, along with new young bands… and it’s no longer so much scrappy punk, but rather hardcore stuff—especially along the Bielefeld–Herford axis.

Out of this growing scene come the guys from Teeth Out, who have just released a short demo following a change in vocalist. They’ve brought along three short songs, the longest of which barely exceeds two minutes. Hardcore.

The whole thing draws on various dentist tools from the hardcore art form: subtle youth crew vibes, gang shouts, fast-changing drum beats, metallic NY-style mosh riffs, and all of it topped off with (possibly slightly pitch-shifted) shouting and occasional louder screaming. The kind of HC where you wanna kick some ones teeth out, but not in a Beatdown way.
