Last year’s Deprecipice was a very hard to pronounce record (at least for us German folks) and a very heavy one too. Now, roughly one year later, their new label home Church Road Records brings the goods again and UK’s Mastiff throw their newest EP For All the Dead Dreams at the world. It comes as no surprise that Mastiff haven’t changed much regarding their heaviness. There are still no Bon Jovi-Power-Ballads or K-Pop-Collabs to be found. Just honest-to-God-Metal in various dark shapes and forms.

5 songs of brute hostility are gathered on For All the Dead Dreams. 17 minutes of condensed anger and audio-physical violence. Every song here has that ONE mosh-part that hits as hard as the body-blow on the cover. What’s so great about that is not knowing when your insides are going to be pulverised.

For All the Dead Dreams puts a big smile on the face of those who appreciate a good end-of-a-year beating. Tracks like the rocking “Rotting Blossoms” or massive “A Story Behind Every Light” are well-crafted mean-machines that will surely be a great addition to your Metal-Playlists.
