TMB Release Highlights July 2020

– 3rd of July, 2020 –

A.A. Williams – Forever Blue

(Bella Union)

When I listened to A.A. Williams for the first time at the Cult Of Luna Tour at the end of 2019, I was amazed by her beautifully melancholic songs. After her self-titled EP on Holy Roar Records and the excellent split record with Japanese Post-Rockers Mono on Pelagic Records, I am pretty excited about her first full-length album.

Dead Tree Seeds – Push the Button

(Music Records)

A project founded in Paris in 2009 by Alex has now stabilized so they
will serve us an album that will blow us away! Take a moment and get a taste
on Youtube with “Fangs of the White Wolf”!

– 10th of July, 2020 –

Inter Arma – Garbers Days Revisited

(Relapse Records)

One of my favorite Sludge/ Post-Metal bands releases a cover album with a promising selection of tracks from artists out of widely different genres – Nine Inch Nails, Neil Young, Prince, Cro-Mags – just to name a few.

Skeleton – s/t

(20 Buck Spin)

Filthy and raw mixture of Death, Black and Thrash Metal that already served with vast genre jumps when only having released two tracks so far.

– 15th of July, 2020 –

Thin – dawn

(Lower Class Kids Records)

Yet another crazy release on LCKR – Nino perfectly described Thin as Norma Jean on Meth. If you are into crazy Mathcore wildfires – don’t sleep on this.

– 17th of July, 2020 –

Nekus – Death Nova Upon the Barren Harvest

(Blood Harvest Records)

Rad new German Death Metal Band.
Evil, gloomy, uncompromisingly hard – with members of Into Coffin.

– 24th of July, 2020 –

Volturyon – Xenogenesis

(ViciSolum Productions)

Crazy cover artwork and even crazier pure Death Metal released by Swedish
label ViciSolum Records will give us some really noticable headbanging tracks!
Check’em out on Youtube with their lyric video “World Pandemic”!

Bedsore – Hypnagogic Hallucinations

(20 Buck Spin)

These Italians bring material to a dream with their debut album, packed in Progressive Death Metal.
Ffo: Morbus Chron / Chapel Of Disease

(Season of Mist)

GAEREA‘s last release “Unsettling Whispers” already showcased a very unique style of playing Black Metal – on “Limbo” this seems to be lifted to the next level.
